Testimonials

"I have had the pleasure of working directly with Simone Chua, the owner, for three years now, and have the utmost respect for the company, the team, and the artworks created.

The Amigo & Amigo team is extremely attentive and incredibly adaptable at installations for all of our event and/or activation efforts here in Downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA. They never cease to amaze me at their creativity, attention to detail, and commitment to the works created.

Kimberly Van Driel, Downtown Grand Rapids Inc.

"I am thrilled to share my great experience working with Amigo & Amigo, a team that truly stands out in the realm of high-profile, interactive light artworks.

From start to finish, their professionalism, creativity, and unwavering commitment to excellence have left an impressive mark on our collaborative endeavours.

Eliza Willis, Culture Liverpool

"Amigo & Amigo create beautiful and engaging public art that bring people together in play and wonder. Their pieces are expertly designed and well built, withstanding the brutal fluctuation of Canadian winters with minimal maintenance.

Not only is their artwork wonderful, but so is their team. Amigo & Amigo have put together a team of smart, personable, creative and caring individuals who are a dream to work with.

Kaileigh Krysztofiak, Lights On Stratford

"The Event Space has been working with Amigo & Amigo for almost eight years, and are continually blown away by both their creativity and execution. The hire range of artworks is incredible, and we have been fortunate enough to place these in a number of high traffic retail and public precinct environments.

These works are not only incredibly creative, but produced to an extremely high quality. They are tough enough to stand up to the interactivity that comes with kids rough play - not an easy task!

James Mavridis, The Event Space

"It was beautiful and fun. I was more amazed by it than I thought I would be. The Trumpet Flowers make you feel like a kid again and want to dance and hit all of the buttons. I hope to work with Amigo & Amigo again to bring more interactive public art to the city."

Bethany Grubbs, City of Port St. Lucie Florida

"Amigo & Amigo continue to lead the way with lighting artwork. Their works are of the highest standard, and their positive and engaging nature makes us want to work with them time and time again."

‘People leave meetings and do something playful’: The art illuminating an office space

"It’s a grey, wintry Melbourne day and installation artist Simone Chua is watching office workers spill out of the 55-storey Rialto tower into the piazza below.

Suddenly, the CBD workers find themselves in the middle of a giant illuminated accordion with six rainbow archways and a pad at the base that creates waves of colour, light and music.

“This is a corporate area, and you’ll get people walking out of meetings and stopping and then doing something a little bit playful,” Chua says.
